I feel like every rap song is about vindication and triumph. For once I’d like a rap song that’s like life used to suck and life still sucks and haters are probably right about me.

People who constantly stick up for the status quo are annoying. They like to point out the obvious ways in which society has progressed, and almost always conclude that we should all be very thankful that we’re not collectively living in the suckage of rural Kansas circa 1958, or something.
